Innes joined the Blue Brazil in 2003 and became the first Cowden captain to lift the championship trophy for 67 years in April 2006. He won numerous player of the year awards during his time at Central Park and was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2006. Innes was a familiar face at games in recent season but emigrated to Australia earlier this year.
