A dramatic late fightback saw us fall just short as we came back from being 4-1 down with just eight minutes to go. Peter Weatherson had put the Greenock side two up midway through the first half but John Armstrong reduced the deficit five minutes from the break.
 

The Ton quickly restored their two goal advantage within 60 seconds of the second half kicking off through Archie Campbell before David O'Brien added a fourth for Allan Moore's side.
 

A late rally in the closing ten minutes saw keeper Derek Gaston deny Kyle Miller with a great save before sub Mark Ramsay got our second goal.

Miller was once again denied a goal four minutes from time when Craig Reid cleared off the line with our third goal finally coming in injury time when Jamie Stevenson scored against his old side.
