A Cowden XI crashed out of the Fife Cup at the Recreation Ground on Tuesday night with Paul Wilson and Ryan Rutherford scoring for the East of Scotland League side in the opening 33 minutes.

 

Zeph Thomas came closest to scoring for us when his shot came off the home crossbar midway through the first half. Thomas was making his first start for us as was recent signing Pablo Navas while David Cowan, Mark Ramsay and Joe Mbu played the full 90 minutes as they battle their way back to fitness after injuries.
