Dumbarton FC v Cowdenbeath FC

After our midweek Ramsdens Cup win over East Fife its back to First Division action on Saturday when we face Dumbarton at the Bet Butler Stadium with a 3 p.m. kick off.
Dumbarton were of course promoted along -side us following their Play-Off Final win over Airdrie United.
The Diamonds however gained revenge for that defeat on Saturday beating the Sons 4-1 at the Excelsior Stadium.
 

COWDEN FORM
Following our opening day league defeat from Dunfermline Athletic we go into the game with a confidence boosting win over East Fife in midweek.
 

DUMBARTON FORM
As mentioned the Sons opened their league campaign with a 4-1 defeat at Airdrie last week with summer signing from Brechin City Jim Lister getting their goal.
In the Ramsdens Cup they made a First Round exit losing 1-0 to Queen of the South, but beat another Second Division side Albion Rover in the Scottish Communities League Cup 2-0 with Bryan Prunty and Lister getting the goals, both games took place at the Rock.
 

PLAYER TO WATCH
Summer signing Jim Lister has made a good start to his Sons career so far with two goals so far making him their top scorer.
 

MATCH OFFICIALS
Taking charge of Saturday’s game is Alan Muir who will be assisted by Michael Banks and Sean Carr.
 

ADMISSION
Gate prices for the game have been set at Adults - £15 and Concessions - £8. Parent & Child - £20.
 

TRAVEL
The Miners Mini Tours bus leaves Central Park at 12.25 p.m. and has a number of spare seats available to non-members. Cost of the trip to Dumbarton is Adults - £15 and Concessions - £10.
