Cowden extended their lead at the top of the table to seven points after our home win over the Sons.

Goals from Marc McKenzie and Lewis Coult had put us 2-0 up after 29 minutes before Craig Dargo pulled a goal back for the visitors following a rare slip up by Joe Mbu. However, the big man made up for his error with a bullet header to give us a 3-1 interval lead. McKenzie then grabbed his second goal of the afternoon with ten minutes to go.
