'Choppers' 150th Appearance

Saturday's win over Dumbarton not only saw the Blue Brazil move seven points clear at the top of the Second Division as it also marked John Armstrong's 150th appearance for the Blue Brazil.

'Chopper' first arrived at Central Park on loan from Hearts in 2007 and spent the best part of two years on loan before making a permanent move to Cowden in October 2009.

The big central defender, who has formed a formidable partnership with Joe Mbu, has seen many ups and downs with us in his his 149 (+1 sub) games for us, during which he has scored eight times and experienced two promotions and two relegations.
