A goal with ten minutes remaining condemned us to a second successive play off to preserve our League Two status.

There were three changes to the side which lost in midweek with Jordan Hornby, Kyle Miller and Blair Malcolm returning with Matthew McInally, Harvey Swann and Ben Reilly dropping to the bench.

Gibson had the first chance of the afternoon with three minutes gone with a 25 yard shot which went narrowly past the post.

Soon after, McGurn had to pull off a double save to keep out Smith’s low drive and the follow up from Leitch.

However on the half hour we almost snatched a goal when Jason Brown failed to clear and Sheerin sneaked in but saw his shot blocked by Fleming.

McGurn proved to be the busier keeper though as half time loomed as he twice denied McAllister.

In 70 minutes Jason Brown was unable to keep a header down after McCraken had nodded a Gibson corner across the face of goal.

But with ten minutes to go sub Jordon BROWN made the breakthrough for the home side when he got on the end of a Gibson cross to head home from eight yards.

With four minutes to go Malcolm had a great chance to grab an equaliser but he blazed his shot over from inside the penalty area.
