Danny Mackay received some deserved good news this week with the medics optimistic that he will be ready to return ahead of schedule to training in January. The youngster recently underwent a successful operation to repair ligament damage suffered in a reserve game against Queen's Park - the second serious knee injury in his young career.
Dene Droudge made his debut for Dundonald Bluebell last weekend and unfortunately had to be replaced in the 1st half due to an ankle injury. However, Deno recovered in time to take his place in the starting line-up on Saturday and played his part in a 4-3 win over Kirkcaldy YM. The promising defender is due to return to Central Park in January.
Meanwhile, 20-year old left-side player Paul Byrne has joined Livingston United on loan until January.
