A young Blue Brazil side swept aside near neighbours Burntisland Shipyard in the preliminary round of the 2011/12 Fife Cup.

Marc McKenzie (7, 64, 67) was the star man with a hat trick along with doubles from Scott Linton (26 pen, 65) and John Ferguson (43, 68)

Defenders Dale Finnie (28), John Armstrong (58) and Steven Bennett (73) all found the net with headers.

17-year old Lewis Milne competed the scoring with a 30-yard sreamer with 10 minutes remaining on the clock.

Cowden will face East Fife at Bayview in the semi final with the victors up against Dunfermline Athletic or Raith Rovers in the final. The semi final and final will take place over September and October - dates to be confirmed.
