A Blue Brazil XI progressed into the 2009/10 Fife Cup Final after defeating Raith Rovers 4-3 on penalties on Thursday night. The Kirkcaldy looked to have sealed their final place until Scott Linton equalised in the 89th minute to send the tie to penalty kicks.

Danny Lennon fielded a side that was a mixture of 1st team and youth players with Jay Shields, Mark Ramsay and Scott McBride getting some much needed game time. Cameron McKay made his debut in goal and the Canadian looked assured between the sticks while youngsters Peter Bradley, Derek Wallace and John Ferguson all impressed.

Cowden will now face either East Fife, Burntisland Shipyard or Dunfermline in the final which will take place at Central Park later in the season.
