The Blue Brazil face four cup finals over the next three weeks with 1st Division big guns Falkirk first up at Central Park on Saturday.
Jimmy Nicholl's team achieved a major milestone last weekend with fellow part-timers Stirling Albion trailing the Club by 14 points and confirmed as the side that will face automatic relegation. The 9th placed side will enter the play-offs but Cowden now have 4 games left to climb out of the relegation places all together with Ross County (1 point ahead) and Dundee (4 points ahead) firmly on the radar.
Cowden go into the finale to the season in good form with 9 points taken from the last 7 games and the squad is quietly confident going into the exciting challenge ahead.
Falkirk, who still have an outside chance of promotion, won the first two encounters at the Falkirk Stadium 5-1 and 2-0 respectively but the recent clash at Central Park was a close affair with the game ending 0-0 despite Archie Campbell having a guilt-edged opportunity to win the game with 5 minutes remaining.
Colin Cameron has recovered from injury and returns to the squad but David Hay is a doubt with a back injury while Joe Mbu, John Armstrong, Bob Malcolm and Dene Droudge are all out.
