Next Saturday Linlithgow Rose visit Central Park to meet the Blue Brazil in an important Parks Motor Group Lowland League fixture. And, as thoughts turn to matters festive, thanks go to our friends at Nottingham Supporting Cowden Miners who have stepped forward to put in place an innovative and attractive scheme for this match in conjunction with Cowdenbeath FC and the Cowdenbeath Independent Supporters Society.
First of all, for the game on Saturday 7th December, there will be a substantial reduction in our admission prices which can be taken advantage of by every paying fan in attendance. On this occasion, all supporters (both home and away) will pay just £8 for adult admission (normally £12) whilst concession admission (OAPs, under 16s) will be just £4 instead of £8. As per our normal arrangements under-12’s can take advantage of our Kids-Go-Free policy.
But that is not all! There is an additional bonus for everyone attending the match. Every single fan present will receive a free raffle ticket on admission which will be entered into a half time draw offering three excellent and practical prizes of:
1. Airfryer/oven
2. Mobile Electric Heater
3. Chrome Pedestal Fan
Jimmy Blair, spokesperson for Nottingham Supporting Cowden Miners, commented, "This promotion is to show our appreciation to our fans for their continued support and to encourage them to attend the match and give the team help and vocal support in challenging times. It really is vital that our fans turn out in numbers on Saturday and give full support to the team against Linlithgow Rose. We do hope this reduction in admission prices plus the entry into a free draw offering three superb prizes will be an additional incentive to come along and see what we believe will be a very entertaining match. Visiting fans too can take full advantage of the discounted prices and will also participate in the free raffle."
"Nottingham Supporting Cowden Miners really are delighted to play our part in supporting the club in their fight to improve the club's fortunes." - Jimmy Blair - For Nottingham Supporting Cowden Miners.
