It’s the final away game of 2021 as we face Stranraer at Stair Park with a 3pm kick off.

The previous meeting of the sides back in August saw Jamie Hamill get his first away points as Stranraer manager with a 2-1 win at Central Park. Liam Buchanan had given us the lead five minutes into the second half but two goals in the last seven minutes from Josh Rennie and Grant Gallagher in the last minute turned the match on his head.

Since then, like most sides in the league, the Blues have had a mixed fortune of results and currently sit in sixth place with 19 points from their 15 games only two points off a play off slot.

The Blues have won the last two meetings of the sides at Stair Park with our last win there coming October 2015 when goals from Brad Donaldson , Kyle Miller and Robbie Buchanan gave us a 3-0 with current goal keeping coach David McGurn in goal for the home side during a spell on loan from Raith Rovers.

Perhaps our most memorable match beside the bandstand was in March 2007 when we won 6-1 on a Sunny Sunday afternoon when Pat Clarke scored an amazing five goals along with Pat Scullion as we raced into a 4-0 lead after just 16 minutes!

Manager Maurice Ross will be heading to the south west looking to build on last Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Stirling Albion.
