Fruit Treat For Home

It’s an ill wind so they say! Although Cowdenbeath’s home match v Stranraer today was disappointingly called off that actually meant that one of our local care homes could enjoy a little treat.

At home matches, Alex Haddow organises fruit for the Cowdenbeath players and the club were delighted that Alex instead arranged, on behalf of the club, that the fruit would still go to a good home - Cowdenbeath Abbotsford nursing home to be precise. Thus residents of Abbotsford at Chambers Court were today able to enjoy Melon, Green grapes, Red grapes , Pineapple, Bananas, Strawberries and oranges, courtesy of Alex and the Blue Brazil.
