Appeal RE Sending Off - David Cox

On Saturday at Cove, David Cox was sent off for Violent Conduct. Cowdenbeath FC believed this to be an injustice. As such an appeal was submitted to the SFA which was heard by a Panel this morning at 8.30am.

We are pleased to confirm that David’s red card was rescinded at that meeting as no offence of Violent Conduct had occurred. It was replaced with a yellow card for ‘showing a lack of respect for the game’.
