Player/Assistant Manager Appointment

Cowdenbeath boss Billy Brown is pleased to now confirm that John Ovenstone has today joined Cowdenbeath as Player/Assistant Manager.  

John is a vastly experienced player - a centre back or left back - and has previously played senior with East Fife, Forfar, Alloa and Stenhousemuir.  

Subsequently, he turned down other senior offers to join Linlithgow Rose.  

Since 2015, John has been player manager at Tayport and he now leaves Canniepairt to come to Central Park.  

The big Fifer adds a wealth of experience to the Cowden squad and is looking forward to working with Billy as Assistant Manager at Central Park.
