We kept our unbeaten run on Northern Irish soil intact when an own goal from Niall Quinn saw us run out narrow winners over Linfield at Clandeboyle Park in Bangor.

 

Like the previous weeks game at Blyth it proved as useful exercise in the build up to the season proper and we would like to thank Linfield for their hospitality and wish the best of luck in their Euro League Campaign when the play the second leg of their tie in Sweden on Thursday night and the domestic season ahead.

 

We conclude our pre-season games on Tuesday night when we host St Mirren at Central Park with a 7.45 p.m. kick off.
