Cowden School Holiday Soccer Camp
Cowdenbeath FC and Beath Community Use again ran their popular Soccer Camp during the School Holiday first week, 33 Kids signed up and enjoyed a rain free week on the Beath astro under the watchful eyes of the Cowdenbeath coaches.
One of the coaches this camp was first team regular Jon Robertson who is keen to move into the coaching side of the game. Jon said “ It was great to meet the kids and spend time with them talking and playing football and I was very impressed with the standard of footballer that attended and the effort they put in. “
The Camp was also visited on Friday afternoon by Cowden Manager Colin Cameron and members of the first team squad including Dean Brett, Liam Callaghan, Lewis Milne and Kyle Miller. Each attendee received Cowdenbeath souvenirs at the conclusion of the camp.
For Beath Community Use, Sarah Drury said “ We are happy to again partner Cowdenbeath FC in this Soccer Camp. The numbers attending demonstrate its popularity and provides kids with a positive activity experience during the School Holidays.”
This weeks Camp was also supported by Network Rail who provided Rail Safe advice to the kids including the Rail Safe website at www.rail-safe.co.uk.
