A goal nine minutes from time from super sub Greg Stewart gave us a deserved point in the Fife derby at Central Park on Saturday afternoon. After a goal less first half the Kirkcaldy side opened the scoring three minutes into the second half with top scorer Brian Graham heading home from a corner.
As we battled to get back into the game Colin Cameron changed his frontline with Stewart coming on along with Craig Moore for his debut and the two combined the ensure the third draw between the sides this season.
A shot from the on loan Motherwell youngster was parried by Rovers keeper David McGurn into the path of Stewart who slotted the ball home for the vital equaliser.
The result see's us remain in eighth place in the Irn Bru First Division with 24 points from 24 games although we moved a point ahead of Dumbarton who went down 1-0 to Partick Thistle at Firhill.
Partick Thistle are our next visitors on Tuesday night when we play the last of our rearranged fixtures at Central Park with a 7.45 p.m. kick off. Following the game on Saturday the pitch covers were quickly relaid on the Central Park surface and hopefully the game will beat the weather.
