MATCH PREVIEW – RAITH ROVERS
We end a memorable 2012 on Saturday at Starks Park when we meet Raith Rovers. This is our second meeting of the season with the Rovers following an exciting and dramatic 4-4 draw at Central Park in October.
After Kyle Miller and Jamie Stevenson had given us a 2-0 lead midway through the first half Brian Graham and Greig Spence levelled the score by the interval.
Lewis Coult then came off the bench to score twice in two minutes but Pat Clarke and Simon Mensing with a 94th minute goal saw the honours shared.
COWDEN FORM
We have now gone 11 games without a win in the Irn Bru First Division during which time we have had five draws and six defeats.
The latest draw was last Saturday against Livingston at Central Park when Marc McKenzie scored in the first minute with Stefan Scrougall levelling for Livi with 20 minutes to go.
Our away league record this season so far is
Played 7, Won 2, Drawn 1, Lost 4, Goals For 8, Goals Against 9, Points 7.
