The Cowden youngsters went down to another narrow defeat against the Shire youngsters at Stirling University this afternoon. David McCoughie gave the hosts the lead when he fired home after 27 minutes but Murray Christie grabbed a deserved equaliser with eight minutes to go.

However Josh Kelly headed home from a corner in 89 minutes and despite five minutes off time added on we were unable to grab a second equaliser.

We won't have long to hopefully get revenge for today's defeat as we host East Stirlingshire in the Second Round of the Scottish Youth Cup in three week's time.
